Payments
title: Getting Paid description: How payments work for sellers - PayPal setup, manual methods, and understanding the transaction fee.
Getting Paid
How money reaches you
Linkforge does not hold or forward payments. Money goes directly from the buyer to you via your chosen payment method. The platform fee comes from your subscription plan - not from touching buyer payments.
Setting up PayPal
Go to Settings → Payments and enter your PayPal email address. When a buyer checks out via PayPal, the payment lands in the PayPal account linked to that email.
What buyers see
Buyers click "Pay with PayPal" and complete payment inside PayPal's checkout flow. They pay the full listed price. The transaction fee is handled through your subscription plan, not deducted from buyer payments.
Manual payment method
If you prefer bank transfer, crypto, or any other method, enable Manual payment in Settings → Payments and write your custom instructions. Example:
Send payment to IBAN DE89 3704 0044 0532 0130 00. Include your order number in the reference. I'll begin fulfilment once confirmed.
Manual orders are created in your dashboard immediately with status Pending. You are responsible for confirming payment before fulfilling.
Transaction fees
Every plan includes a transaction fee charged per completed order - a flat amount, not a percentage.
Example: Domain listed at €150, plan transaction fee is €1.50 → you keep €148.50 (before PayPal's ~3% processing fee).
See exact fees per plan in Plans & Pricing.
